Chakram

The signature weapon of the Warrior Princess, the chakram is a decorated metal ring with a razor-sharp edge. Its design is based on a weapon used by the Sikhs, a fighting sect that originated in the Punjab region of India. Xena uses the chakram like a sword, a knife, and a boomerang; it has also seen duty as the decoration on top of a Solstice tree. When Dr. Melinda Pappas finds the broken chakram, it is her power as Xena's descendent that puts it back together again.
